FK Řitka's Otmar Takáč played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantin Pospěch in the 5th minute of play. Hynek Rytíř fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otmar Takáč having to interfere. Lubomír Kulík struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Rastislav Mikulík didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Řitka. A wasted opportunity for Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho. 27 minutes into the match, FK Řitka's goal looked a bit too open when Hynek Rytíř came free, but Otmar Takáč reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in FK Řitka's zone, Konstantin Pospěch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otmar Takáč came out of the goal and Konstantin Pospěch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lubomír Kulík to make the kick off. Rade Gast took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rastislav Mikulík. Rastislav Mikulík dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 76th minute, Evžen Čáslavský fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Karel Bílý kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Hynek Rytíř fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otmar Takáč having to interfere. FK Řitka's Rade Gast got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
