An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdeněk Mánek in the 6th minute of play forced Czechia Hradec Králové's goalkeeper Vladimír Silovský to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Czechia Hradec Králové's Vavřinec Harašta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vlastimil Plšek. Vlastimil Plšek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Vladimír Silovský stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zdeněk Mánek's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After 25 played minutes Czechia Hradec Králové got a freekick which was hit by Julius Dosoudil. Darek Šiler charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darek Šiler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 38 minutes into the match, Czechia Hradec Králové's goal looked a bit too open when Imrich Hartmann came free, but Vladimír Silovský reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Darek Šiler made a kick off. Imrich Hartmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vladimír Silovský tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vlastimil Plšek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Bernášek in the 56th minute of the match. Czechia Hradec Králové's Darek Šiler got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the game, one of FK Kujebáci:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Czechia Hradec Králové. Ladislav Přeček stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vlastimil Plšek. 2-1. FK Kujebáci's Karel Míšek was substituted for Imrich Hartmann. 78 minutes into the game, Anatolij Stráník threw the ball into play from the sideline. Czechia Hradec Králové's Ladislav Přeček quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 88th minute, Vavřinec Harašta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vlastimil Plšek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vavřinec Harašta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Czechia Hradec Králové fans cheered their team off the field, for while FK Kujebáci had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
