In the 4thth minute of the game Josef Blažej who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kopeto's Arnold Petřek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 5th minute Josef Blažej shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Petřek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josef Winkler might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilibald Bok. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josef Winkler ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the game, Ctibor Vošický recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnold Petřek. Ctibor Vošický showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 16th minute, Ctibor Vošický hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Tigers's zone, Josef Slepička stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilibald Bok came out of the goal and Josef Slepička tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vilibald Bok showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Winkler, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Josef Slepička managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kopeto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josef Slepička was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Josef Winkler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilibald Bok having to interfere. Josef Blažej was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Josef Blažej had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 37 minutes, Josef Winkler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kopeto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josef Winkler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Josef Winkler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Vilibald Bok tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilibald Bok showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Winkler in the 46th minute of the match. Petr Šlechta charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petr Šlechta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Kopeto booed when Golden Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petr Šlechta didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josef Winkler was the one to do the kick off. Josef Blažej received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Arnold Petřek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnold Petřek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Blažej in the 58th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Josef Blažej cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Arnold Petřek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute, FC Kopeto's Mirko Branda seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mirko Branda the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Kopeto protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mirko Branda had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. If Josef Blažej had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josef Blažej's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnold Petřek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Josef Winkler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kopeto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josef Winkler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnold Petřek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Blažej, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Blažej in the 94th minute of play forced FC Kopeto's goalkeeper Arnold Petřek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josef Blažej received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Arnold Petřek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnold Petřek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josef Blažej in the 98th minute of the match. Golden Tigers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
