Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Emanuel Cărtărescu made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Granicerul's zone, Sorin Cucerzan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narcis Coman came out of the goal and Sorin Cucerzan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nichifor Burnei's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Narcis Coman firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nechifor Gheție took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Cărtărescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute of the match, Nichifor Burnei got a very nice opportunity to score, but Narcis Coman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 18th minute, Panait Tinu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Tractorul Satulung -MM- defense, Toader Gabrea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nechifor Gheție. The Tractorul Satulung -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nechifor Gheție should have stopped the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Granicerul fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Narcis Coman had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Nichifor Burnei's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Dorel Albescu kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Tractorul Satulung -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Emilian Horațiu.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nichifor Burnei to make the kick off. Emanuel Cărtărescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Nechifor Gheție made a huge save. In the 52nd minute, Nicolae Stan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Nechifor Gheție played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorel Albescu in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute Radu Nae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narcis Coman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nechifor Gheție made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radu Jușcă in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Tractorul Satulung -MM- getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Emilian Horațiu hit a great ball. Dorel Albescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Tractorul Satulung -MM- booed when Granicerul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niculae Petre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes Granicerul got a freekick which was hit by Nicolae Stan. Narcis Coman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Burnei in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Granicerul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Băbescu to maneuver through the defense. Narcis Coman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Burnei in the 72nd minute of play. Sorin Cucerzan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Nechifor Gheție had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Cărtărescu. Emanuel Cărtărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Gheție having to interfere. Dorel Albescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nechifor Gheție came out and tried to block the shot, but Dorel Albescu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 86th minute. Emanuel Cărtărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Gheție having to interfere. Granicerul's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
