Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Traian Zota during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Traian Zota kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Cazimir Negulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ booed when Champions Iasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebiu Gheondea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Costică Perșa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 minutes of play, Champions Iasi's George Vâlcu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Codruț Dindelegan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute, Cazimir Negulescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergiu Angheluță was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Traian Zota hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. George Vâlcu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Codruț Dindelegan. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Leontin Hosu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sergiu Angheluță. That made the score 2-1 in the 25 minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traian Zota to maneuver through the defense. Sergiu Angheluță made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Leontin Hosu sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute, Răzvan Miclovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Basarab Constantinescu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Liviu Neguțu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Costică Perșa fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Champions Iasi's protests and gave Costică Perșa a yellow card for diving instead. After 48 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Costică Perșa. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cazimir Zăraşcu to strike the kick off in the second half. Sergiu Angheluță came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Dacian Ciocan. But to his dismay, Dacian Ciocan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 57th match minute, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nae Tunar to maneuver through the defense. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Leontin Hosu pulled a muscle in his back after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ made a substitution. Nichifor Cunea replaced Leontin Hosu. After 64 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Jupâneanu. A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Costică Perșa hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Champions Iasi defense, Sabin Oros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergiu Angheluță. The Champions Iasi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergiu Angheluță should have stopped the shot. Sergiu Angheluță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Cunea in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Costică Perșa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Dindelegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabin Oros hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Sergiu Angheluță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nichifor Cunea, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Costică Perșa hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Nichifor Cunea scored 5-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergiu Angheluță, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Champions Iasi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
