Loco Killer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Tiberiu Oncu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of SuperDepor booed when Peretu City 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Isvoreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Matei Minteuan with Victor Bianu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Adam Ştefănescu charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Ştefănescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toader Arnăuțescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Aurelian Damian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Petrin in the 52nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Iurie Guriță put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Peretu City 09 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! After a long run with the ball, Calistrat Bejenaru did a trick in the 56th minute in front of Peretu City 09's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 2-1. An impressive performance by SuperDepor's Calistrat Bejenaru! Aurelian Damian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toader Arnăuțescu in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Costică Isvoreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 66 minutes, Toader Arnăuțescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SuperDepor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toader Arnăuțescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 68 minutes, Iordache Contra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SuperDepor and the Peretu City 09 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes SuperDepor got a freekick which was hit by Iordache Contra. Tiberiu Oncu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Ştefănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SuperDepor's Tiberiu Oncu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Ştefănescu in the 77th minute of play. If Toader Arnăuțescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelian Damian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toader Arnăuțescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 89 played minutes Peretu City 09 got a freekick which was hit by Costică Isvoreanu. If Toader Arnăuțescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, SuperDepor's Victor Petrin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelian Damian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. SuperDepor were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
