Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Nae Răchită started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in SuperDepor's zone, Mădălin Brăiloiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiberiu Oncu came out of the goal and Mădălin Brăiloiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the match, SuperDepor's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Strugure came free, but Tiberiu Oncu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mădălin Brăiloiu in the 6th minute of play forced SuperDepor's goalkeeper Tiberiu Oncu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Calistrat Bejenaru recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Grigore Mardarie. Calistrat Bejenaru showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Grigore Mardarie made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Calistrat Bejenaru sent off a good shot on target. When Mădălin Brăiloiu came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mădălin Brăiloiu couldn't finish the play. Cosmin Badea kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 20 minutes of play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Sorin Manole made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiberiu Oncu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marin Berceanu took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grigore Mardarie. Grigore Mardarie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Grigore Mardarie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calistrat Bejenaru in the 26th minute of the match. Cosmin Badea kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Grigore Mardarie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calistrat Bejenaru in the 30th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Calistrat Bejenaru during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes SuperDepor got a freekick which was hit by Calistrat Bejenaru. In the 32nd minute of the match Mugurel Hojbota sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiberiu Oncu skillfully saved the ball. Andrei Mândrilă's late challenge caught a Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrei Mândrilă helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 minutes, Victor Bianu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SuperDepor and the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marin Berceanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grigore Mardarie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Grigore Mardarie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marin Berceanu. Tiberiu Oncu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nae Răchită, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiberiu Oncu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vlad Nicolae in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marin Berceanu made a kick off. A collision led to SuperDepor getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Calistrat Bejenaru hit a great ball. If Vlad Nicolae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Maxim Strugure took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Tiberiu Oncu to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Strugure in the 62nd minute of play forced SuperDepor's goalkeeper Tiberiu Oncu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, SuperDepor's goalkeeper Tiberiu Oncu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vlad Nicolae. Tiberiu Oncu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mădălin Brăiloiu in the 66th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Maxim Strugure had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiberiu Oncu. SuperDepor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maxim Strugure was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Tiberiu Oncu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nae Răchită in the 77th minute. In the 79thth minute of the game Calistrat Bejenaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Grigore Mardarie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Lucrețiu Stolniceanu got a free kick in the 84th minute. Nae Răchită who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Tiberiu Oncu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tiberiu Oncu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mădălin Brăiloiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SuperDepor's Tiberiu Oncu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save SuperDepor from getting a goal against them. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
