After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Adam Ştefănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peretu City 09's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Ştefănescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cazimir Curteanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aurelian Damian made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Augustin Săvulescu sent off a good shot on target. After 9 minutes, Ivan Stolniceanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Simared -MM- and the Peretu City 09 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ivan Stolniceanu kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Adam Ştefănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cazimir Curteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simared -MM-'s Cazimir Curteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Ştefănescu in the 12th minute of play. Codruț Martinescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cazimir Curteanu having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Matei Humă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Simared -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peretu City 09 the free kick. In the 15th minute, Matei Humă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augustin Săvulescu in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelian Damian saved Peretu City 09 from getting behind. The supporters of Simared -MM- booed when Peretu City 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugur Ianculescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peretu City 09's Codruț Martinescu got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Simared -MM-'s goalkeeper Cazimir Curteanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner ended in Augustin Prisecaru almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Simared -MM-'s Cazimir Curteanu did a great save. In the 31st minute, Adam Ştefănescu made a precise shot to the right of Cazimir Curteanu. Simared -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With his leg Aurelian Damian managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Simared -MM-'s Tiberiu Huștea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Peretu City 09's Codruț Martinescu got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Augustin Săvulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cazimir Curteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Martinescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Cazimir Curteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Ştefănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simared -MM-'s Cazimir Curteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codruț Martinescu in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Simared -MM- made a substitution. Manole Izvoranu replaced Augustin Săvulescu. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manole Izvoranu was the one to do the kick off. Alex Purcaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelian Damian having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Eric Arghirescu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peretu City 09's Costică Isvoreanu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Simared -MM-'s Alex Purcaru in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peretu City 09's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Simared -MM- booed when Peretu City 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codruț Martinescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Ştefănescu got free with Cazimir Curteanu in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cazimir Curteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Martinescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 91st minute, Adam Ştefănescu made a precise shot to the right of Cazimir Curteanu. Simared -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Chants of Peretu City 09 echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Simared -MM- had held the ball for most of the match.
