The audience was convinced that Gavril Burnei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anton Iorda was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ionel Scripcaru during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciprian Jușcă couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciprian Jușcă made a kick off. Team in construction were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after FC Lutanu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iordache Morovan took the corner. Team in construction's Iordache Morovan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ştefan Gârniceanu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Ciprian Jușcă came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Team in construction fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciprian Jușcă couldn't finish the play. Anton Iorda was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. FC Lutanu's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
