Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gavril Mihai kicked off to start the match. Ionel Fecioru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sever Vintilescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eantdit FK's Basarab Domnescu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Iurie Mutu but with some difficulty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sever Vintilescu in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionel Fecioru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Academia Rio fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Academia Rio's Iulian Negulescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 27thth minute of the game Sever Vintilescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eantdit FK's Ionel Fecioru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sever Vintilescu got in the 36th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ionel Fecioru handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Gavril Mihai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Eantdit FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Academia Rio were winning 0-1.

Iustinian Bărbat charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iustinian Bărbat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Horia Berceanu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Eantdit FK's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Vintilescu came free, but Ionel Fecioru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionel Fecioru made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Sever Vintilescu sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Ionel Fecioru managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Academia Rio's Sever Vintilescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Sever Vintilescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ionel Fecioru was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. The Academia Rio fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Academia Rio's Sever Vintilescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Iulian Negulescu took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Ionel Fecioru to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Eantdit FK getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gigel Tăbăcaru hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Academia Rio's Sever Vintilescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ionel Fecioru made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When János Oltean came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Academia Rio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that János Oltean couldn't finish the play. János Oltean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ionel Fecioru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionel Fecioru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sever Vintilescu's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by János Oltean in the 90th minute of play forced Eantdit FK's goalkeeper Ionel Fecioru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iulian Negulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ionel Fecioru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Vintilescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Academia Rio's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
