The audience thought a goal was coming when Costică Răduțu got free with Ding Dong in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute of the match, Costică Răduțu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ding Dong was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dumitru Covrig kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Daniel Jumancă charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Jumancă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Armada getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Daniel Jumancă hit a great ball. Daniel Jumancă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Tudor Urdăreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Armada's Ding Dong got control of the ball when Emanuel Maftei tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 38 minutes of play, Armada's Daniel Jumancă made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tudor Urdăreanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Petru Stoiculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorin Mereuță to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Armada defense, Petru Stoiculescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ding Dong. The Armada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ding Dong should have stopped the shot. George Ichims short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Tudor Urdăreanu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 62nd minute Petru Stoiculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ding Dong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Petru Stoiculescu notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Armada's Ding Dong. Ding Dong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
