Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dan Godeanu got the match started through his kick off. Remus Șerbulea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pompiliu Hâncu having to interfere. Republica Ploiești's Ioan Brânza got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Emanuel Ardeleanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan Godeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Boteanu having to interfere. Lucian Luțu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Remus Elisei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Lepuș came free, but Călin Boteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 27 minutes, Remus Șerbulea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DINAMO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remus Șerbulea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pompiliu Hâncu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Bobocea in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Dan Godeanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Republica Ploiești fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Lucian Luțu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Lucian Luțu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Boteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Călin Boteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Godeanu in the 38th minute of play. Călin Boteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Godeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cazimir Mohora took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Călin Boteanu. Călin Boteanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 46 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Godeanu came free, but Călin Boteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Republica Ploiești's Cazimir Mohora got a free kick in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugen Bobocea made a kick off. Călin Boteanu was a little too slow when Lucian Luțu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 59th minute, Dan Godeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iosif Asachi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Pompiliu Hâncu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Remus Șerbulea managed to get in a good position for a shot. DINAMO's supporters rose to their feet, but Remus Șerbulea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pompiliu Hâncu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Ardeleanu hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Remus Șerbulea kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Dan Godeanu put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Călin Boteanu. DINAMO's Călin Boteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Luțu in the 96th minute of play. Călin Boteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucian Luțu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
