A wasted opportunity for Pinner Cluj-Napoca. 14 minutes into the match, UFC Tariverde's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Ciocoiu came free, but Marcel Uzuneanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes in the game, Ilie Uncescu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marcel Uzuneanu having to interfere. Remus Şimandan kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Marin Braniște managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's supporters rose to their feet, but Marin Braniște was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Uzuneanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 26 played minutes Pinner Cluj-Napoca got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Gănescu. If Adam Ştati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pinner Cluj-Napoca booed when UFC Tariverde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remus Şimandan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Petre Bacalbașa from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Marcel Uzuneanu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to UFC Tariverde getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ionuț Simionică hit a great ball. Marcel Uzuneanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Braniște in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, UFC Tariverde's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Uncescu came free, but Marcel Uzuneanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Martin Mardarie made the kick off in the second half. Sergiu Ciocoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Marcel Uzuneanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, UFC Tariverde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Trapcea to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Adam Ştati sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Uzuneanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Remus Şimandan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Uzuneanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Braniște, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 69 played minutes UFC Tariverde got a freekick which was hit by Moise Balint. After a defensive mix-up in UFC Tariverde's zone, Petre Bacalbașa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Uzuneanu came out of the goal and Petre Bacalbașa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Braniște in the 73rd minute of play forced UFC Tariverde's goalkeeper Marcel Uzuneanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the UFC Tariverde defense, Marin Braniște kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Uzuneanu. The UFC Tariverde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Uzuneanu should have stopped the shot. Marcel Uzuneanu came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Adam Ştati. But to his dismay, Adam Ştati quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Marin Braniște might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcel Uzuneanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marin Braniște ran back to his position shaking his head. Adam Ştati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Uzuneanu having to interfere. Sergiu Ciocoiu charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergiu Ciocoiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th match minute, Pinner Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergiu Ciocoiu to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Pinner Cluj-Napoca were the better team. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
