Petre Bacalbașa's shot from long distance in the 10th minute was not bad at all, but FC Luck's Ciprian Barboni knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After 22 played minutes Pinner Cluj-Napoca got a freekick which was hit by Sandu Gănescu. In the 23rd minute of the match Gică Eremia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petruț Floreanu skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Pinner Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Sandu Gănescu hit a great ball. FC Luck's Nistor Valerian managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Petre Bacalbașa in the 32 minute of the game. 34 minutes into the match, FC Luck's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Uncescu came free, but Ciprian Barboni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 played minutes FC Luck got a freekick which was hit by Alin Alexe. In the 42nd match minute, FC Luck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alin Alexe to maneuver through the defense. Marin Braniște who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Ciprian Barboni when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

In the 55th match minute, FC Luck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Budișteanu to maneuver through the defense. After 58 played minutes FC Luck got a freekick which was hit by Petru Vişoianu. Ciprian Barboni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Uncescu in the 60th minute of the match. Nistor Valerian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Petruț Floreanu. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Petruț Floreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Mitescu in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marin Braniște in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciprian Barboni saved FC Luck from getting behind. Daniel Mitescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Petruț Floreanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Mitescu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 75th minute. Eduard Budișteanu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute of the match Petre Bacalbașa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciprian Barboni skillfully saved the ball. In the 81st match minute, FC Luck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petru Vişoianu to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Marin Braniște sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciprian Barboni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Luck's Ciprian Barboni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Ştati in the 90th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marin Braniște in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciprian Barboni saved FC Luck from getting behind. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Petre Bacalbașa pulled a muscle in his leg after 96 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 96 minutes into the game, Alin Alexe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Luck's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pinner Cluj-Napoca the free kick. In the 98th match minute, FC Luck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alin Alexe to maneuver through the defense. Although Pinner Cluj-Napoca had been in control for most of the match, FC Luck still came away with the win.
