After 5 played minutes, UFC Tariverde's Moise Balint shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Octav Dănășel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UFC Tariverde reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristi Balotă in the 7th minute of play forced Rova Rosiori's goalkeeper Octav Dănășel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Rova Rosiori defense, Martin Mardarie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octav Dănășel. The Rova Rosiori fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octav Dănășel should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Manuel Căliman notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Rova Rosiori's Octav Dănășel. Octav Dănășel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, UFC Tariverde's Moise Balint got a free kick in the 19th minute. The supporters of UFC Tariverde booed when Rova Rosiori was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Vuşcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octav Dănășel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Mardarie in the 21st minute of the match. Remus Şimandan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Horia Buciuceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octav Dănășel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Mardarie, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Cristi Balotă hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Martin Mardarie charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Mardarie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to UFC Tariverde getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Martin Mardarie hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Manuel Căliman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octav Dănășel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Mardarie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcel Uzuneanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Istrate in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Istrate in the 53rd minute of play forced UFC Tariverde's goalkeeper Marcel Uzuneanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octav Dănășel was a little too slow when Ionuț Simionică got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-4. Octav Dănășel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remus Şimandan went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The supporters of Rova Rosiori booed when UFC Tariverde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Balint didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 minutes, Eugen Vuşcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rova Rosiori and the UFC Tariverde players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Eugen Vuşcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionuț Simionică kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Mardarie in the 73rd minute of play forced Rova Rosiori's goalkeeper Octav Dănășel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mugur Hosu kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 84 minutes, Mihăiţă Bognar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UFC Tariverde and the Rova Rosiori players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rova Rosiori booed when UFC Tariverde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihăiţă Bognar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the UFC Tariverde defense, Damian Patriciu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Uzuneanu. The UFC Tariverde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Uzuneanu should have stopped the shot. When Martin Mardarie came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the UFC Tariverde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Mardarie couldn't finish the play. During the 91st minute of the match Martin Mardarie completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Martin Mardarie a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 92 played minutes UFC Tariverde got a freekick which was hit by Martin Mardarie. Marcel Uzuneanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horia Buciuceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Rova Rosiori manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing UFC Tariverde to win.
