After a rather tough play, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Dorel Domnescu got a free kick in the 5th minute. Aurelian Rădulescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paul Piersic. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 9th minute, Matei Udrescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The THE CRYSTAL SHIP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's David Anghel got a free kick in the 16th minute. The supporters of THE CRYSTAL SHIP booed when F.C.DrobetA-Știința- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionel Zburlea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelian Mihuleac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Udrescu in the 21st minute of the match. The supporters of THE CRYSTAL SHIP booed when F.C.DrobetA-Știința- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sever Vrabie didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Dorel Domnescu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Aurelian Mihuleac didn't even have to move. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maxim Gherghescu was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, THE CRYSTAL SHIP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorel Domnescu to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paul Piersic showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Constantin Aluculesei's late challenge caught a THE CRYSTAL SHIP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantin Aluculesei helped the player get up and apologised. Aurelian Rădulescu hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. A collision led to THE CRYSTAL SHIP getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Emil Josan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Ionel Zburlea got a free kick in the 64th minute. Aurelian Mihuleac was a little too slow when Basarab Balc got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-5.
