In the 7th minute of the match Dorel Domnescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horea Raicu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Anton Topală hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, Gelu Săvescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave THE CRYSTAL SHIP the free kick. Fabian Verzea took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Piersic. Paul Piersic dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Paul Piersic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panait Dănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Sabin Strugure got a free kick in the 16th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Matei Udrescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horea Raicu. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matei Udrescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Fabian Verzea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Paul Piersic made a huge save. 31 minutes into the match, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goalkeeper Paul Piersic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Verzea. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Fabian Verzea couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for THE CRYSTAL SHIP. After the first half THE CRYSTAL SHIP were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Damian Arapașu's late challenge caught a THE CRYSTAL SHIP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Arapașu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Arapașu to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Sabin Strugure got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute, Fabian Verzea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Piersic was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Alin Moldoveanu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Horea Raicu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Fc Gheraseni from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute, Alin Moldoveanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goal looked a bit too open when Iurie Floruțiu came free, but Horea Raicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paul Piersic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Săvescu in the 88th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iurie Floruțiu during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iurie Floruțiu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 92 minutes of play, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Panait Dănescu made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Piersic was left in no man's land by his defense there! The THE CRYSTAL SHIP supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing THE CRYSTAL SHIP would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
