Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Costel Vlas took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, FC Ruscova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Rada to maneuver through the defense. Costel Vlas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iosif Filipoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Gică Izvoranu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Ruscova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV the free kick. A collision led to FC Ruscova getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gică Izvoranu hit a great ball. The supporters of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV booed when FC Ruscova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Filipoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Ruscova getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mihnea Puric hit a great ball. Marian Novăceanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Costel Vlas went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Adrian Gherasim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Iosif Filipoiu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nichifor Badea. The goal made the score 1-1. Costel Vlas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marian Novăceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Vlas in the 44th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergiu Oneț was the one to do the kick off. David Ene hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Nichifor Badea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Oneț, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. A collision led to MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Adrian Gherasim hit a great ball. FC Ruscova's Marian Novăceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Gherasim in the 60th minute of play. Mihnea Puric hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Ruscova's Robert Crașovan got a free kick in the 70th minute. Gică Izvoranu kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Mihnea Puric charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihnea Puric the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 77 minutes into the game, one of FC Ruscova:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 85 minutes into the match, Sergiu Oneț notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Nichifor Badea. Nichifor Badea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Marian Rada fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ruscova's protests and gave Marian Rada a yellow card for diving instead. Marian Novăceanu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nicodim Agulescu. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
