Edgar Coposu made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Vlad Gruia sent off a good shot on target. Eusebiu Achiriloaie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Edgar Coposu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrei Ghioncu lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Florilor United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stiinta-Univ.:s goal. With a little luck, Stiinta-Univ.'s Edgar Coposu got control of the ball when Eusebiu Achiriloaie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gigel Diaconescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Pupăzan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Ovidiu Borza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Diaconescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigel Diaconescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ovidiu Borza went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mircea Andone in the 33rd minute of play forced Florilor United's goalkeeper Gigel Diaconescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigel Diaconescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidiu Borza, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Gigel Diaconescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ovidiu Borza in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Ovidiu Borza notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Florilor United's Gigel Diaconescu. Gigel Diaconescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 61 played minutes Stiinta-Univ. got a freekick which was hit by Irinel Itoafă. Edgar Coposu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Eusebiu Achiriloaie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Coposu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebiu Achiriloaie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Coposu having to interfere.
