Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eduard Boroș took the kick off in the first half of the match. Johnny Visch was a little too slow when Pompiliu Lechințan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 7th minute, Pompiliu Lechințan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, FC BaLiSt's Claudiu Floreanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Claudiu Floreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Gigel Enășoiu fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Phoenix Strikers's protests and gave Gigel Enășoiu a yellow card for diving instead. Pompiliu Lechințan was shown his second yellow card after 23 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, FC BaLiSt's Pompiliu Lechințan got a free kick in the 24th minute. Leonard Baran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Boroș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Phoenix Strikers's goalkeeper Johnny Visch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 31 played minutes Phoenix Strikers got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Ceaușu. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Strikers's Costin Dobrițoiu got a free kick in the 35th minute. Cazimir Ceaușu's late challenge caught a FC BaLiSt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cazimir Ceaușu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Cazimir Ceaușu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Baran came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Strikers's Ion Africano. But to his dismay, Ion Africano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Johnny Visch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Floreanu in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Strikers's Marin Pietreanu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Cazimir Ceaușu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Baran having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Tudor Gheordunescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC BaLiSt and the Phoenix Strikers players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC BaLiSt getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Tudor Gheordunescu hit a great ball. Costin Dobrițoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Costin Dobrițoiu was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ionuț Vizitiu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Johnny Visch. Phoenix Strikers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 66th minute, Marin Pietreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Phoenix Strikers's zone, Claudiu Floreanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johnny Visch came out of the goal and Claudiu Floreanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dan Bârlă kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. David Mocanu, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 76th match minute, Phoenix Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigel Enășoiu to maneuver through the defense. When FC BaLiSt's Claudiu Floreanu in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Phoenix Strikers's goalie prevented a goal. Johnny Visch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Floreanu in the 83rd minute of play. Phoenix Strikers's Johnny Visch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Floreanu in the 85th minute of play. Gigel Enășoiu was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Johnny Visch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Floreanu in the 96th minute of the match.
