Eliodor Buciuceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isac Pătran got free with Eliodor Buciuceanu in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petruț Șora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Eliodor Buciuceanu made a huge save. The CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Isac Pătran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 42 minutes into the match, Mihai Blănaru notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Damian Lechințan. Damian Lechințan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Blănaru in the 46th minute of play forced CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's goalkeeper Damian Lechințan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ovidiu Ursulescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ovidiu Ursulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM were furious when Teodor Elenescu was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Teodor Elenescu kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Petruț Șora notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of AC Ony's Eliodor Buciuceanu. Eliodor Buciuceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Virgil Dinculescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihai Blănaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Damian Lechințan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Martin Buciuceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Buciuceanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliodor Buciuceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petruț Șora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihai Blănaru kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Claudiu Gâdea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliodor Buciuceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Buciuceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. AC Ony's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
