Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emanuel Tiberiu kicked off to start the match. FC Steaua Pildesti's Octav Mergea got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denis Nenciu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Octav Mergea took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petruț Ţopescu. Petruț Ţopescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Petruț Ţopescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octav Mergea in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, one of Delphine Stars:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Delphine Stars. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Liviu Dobrescu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The Delphine Stars fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Delphine Stars's Costel Cobzeanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 28 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's Rareș Ficsinescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petruț Ţopescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot by Octav Mergea from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Petruț Ţopescu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 36 minutes, Adam Buș mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Steaua Pildesti and the Delphine Stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Adam Buș hit a great ball. Emanuel Tiberiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugur Gorcea in the 41st minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Eric Frântu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eric Frântu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Dorian, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octav Mergea to make the kick off. Octav Mergea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Petruț Ţopescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Rareș Ficsinescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Steaua Pildesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delphine Stars the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Delphine Stars's zone, Rareș Ficsinescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petruț Ţopescu came out of the goal and Rareș Ficsinescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rareș Ficsinescu in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petruț Ţopescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Nenciu to maneuver through the defense. In the 85thth minute of the game Mugur Gorcea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Steaua Pildesti's Eric Frântu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute, Cristian Dorian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
