Florin Bolborici stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurențiu Ene's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Laurențiu Ene fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Bolborici having to interfere. After a rather tough play, -ARD-Milan rEvolution's Iacob Păunescu got a free kick in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Gelu Petrică was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MIT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -ARD-Milan rEvolution the free kick. The supporters of -ARD-Milan rEvolution booed when MIT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gelu Petrică didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ionuț Vrejiu to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Laurențiu Ene's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florin Bolborici was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the -ARD-Milan rEvolution players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
