When Niculae Alb came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Dacians Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niculae Alb couldn't finish the play. Mihail Gheție was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Niculae Alb capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niculae Alb really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Dacians Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Gherase came free, but Nistor Manu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Dacians Academy got a freekick which was hit by Olimpiu Săndoi. When Dacians Academy's Niculae Alb in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's goalie prevented a goal. Olimpiu Săndoi kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Ovidiu Negoescu took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nistor Manu. Nistor Manu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Manuel Gherase notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Dacians Academy's Nistor Manu. Nistor Manu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Augustin Oltean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Mihail Gheție made a huge save. Dacians Academy's Niculae Alb was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mihail Gheție in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nistor Cantemir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valer Logofeteanu lost his temper 50 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely booed when Dacians Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Logofeteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Ovidiu Negoescu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nistor Manu but with some difficulty. Isac Bucurescu hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Nistor Cantemir kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Dacians Academy got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Alb. Dacians Academy's Nistor Manu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Gherase in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dacians Academy's Daniel Bădilescu got a free kick in the 71st minute. Ovidiu Negoescu scored 1-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nistor Manu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dacians Academy throughout the match.
