Dumitru Nedelciu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dumitru Nedelciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Cantemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Manuel Gherase nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihail Gheție showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandru Anton in the 35th minute of the match. FC Liverpool YnWa's Dumitru Nedelciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calistrat Baicea in the 37th minute of play. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely made a substitution. Matei Chirilă replaced Manuel Gherase. In the 43rd match minute, FC Liverpool YnWa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavian Beșleaga to maneuver through the defense. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Ovidiu Negoescu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Liverpool YnWa.

Dumitru Nedelciu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matei Chirilă in the 52nd minute. In the 57th minute, Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Matei Chirilă dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. In the 64th minute, George Hulubei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely's Ovidiu Negoescu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dumitru Nedelciu but with some difficulty. In the 69th minute Matei Chirilă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Nedelciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Alexandru Anton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihail Gheție was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 74 minutes into the match, Calistrat Baicea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dumitru Nedelciu, 1-5. Remus Anghelescu hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When Remus Anghelescu fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Liverpool YnWa's protests and gave Remus Anghelescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th match minute, FC Liverpool YnWa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remus Anghelescu to maneuver through the defense. Ovidiu Negoescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dumitru Nedelciu. FC Liverpool YnWa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nistor Cantemir's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dumitru Nedelciu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dumitru Nedelciu made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Nistor Cantemir sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Erdélyi SE Marosvásárhely left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Liverpool YnWa.
