In the 5th minute Aurel Halipa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Bulcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Simionescu charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Simionescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David Simionescu hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The supporters of Fotbal Club Vaslui booed when Dacians Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niculae Alb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Nisporeanu took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Șerban Bulcă. Șerban Bulcă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute, Niculae Alb ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gigel Rânceanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Șerban Bulcă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víglundur von der Schulenburg, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Aurel Halipa scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Șerban Bulcă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabriel Hațegan might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gigel Rânceanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Hațegan ran back to his position shaking his head. Gigel Rânceanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olimpiu Săndoi in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Valer Logofeteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Liviu Mușătescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Bulcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Andrei Vârjean made the kick off in the second half. Olimpiu Săndoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute Niculae Alb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Rânceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niculae Alb in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gigel Rânceanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd match minute, Fotbal Club Vaslui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Nisporeanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Liviu Mușătescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Bulcă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Aurel Halipa got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Dacians Academy booed when Fotbal Club Vaslui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víglundur von der Schulenburg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Dacians Academy's Niculae Alb broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, Dacians Academy's Șerban Bulcă got control of the ball when Aurel Halipa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Niculae Alb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fotbal Club Vaslui were furious when Alin Geamănu was red carded, 83 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 82 minutes into the game, one of Fotbal Club Vaslui:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Dacians Academy a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Niculae Alb, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fotbal Club Vaslui's Gigel Rânceanu. 2-2. 95 minutes into the game, Niculae Alb cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Gigel Rânceanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dacians Academy's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
