The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ştefan Buzilă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorel Cercelescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ştefan Buzilă didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gavril Cozaru went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 11th minute, Valer Pintilescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s Gavril Cozaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ştefan Buzilă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ştefan Buzilă came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s Gavril Cozaru. But to his dismay, Gavril Cozaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 31st minute Dorel Cercelescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ştefan Buzilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Toader Nițulescu in the 32nd minute. Toader Nițulescu made a great header on ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s corner, it was just that Gzpn Timisoara's Ştefan Buzilă managed to reach the ball for a save. Toader Baltian charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toader Baltian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡ booed when Gzpn Timisoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toader Baltian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gzpn Timisoara's Ştefan Buzilă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavril Cozaru in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gavril Cozaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ştefan Buzilă was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Ştefan Buzilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavril Cozaru in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Rareș Lucian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ştefan Buzilă was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡'s Tudor Coidum got a free kick in the 46th minute. Dacian Smarandache didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 47th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Toader Baltian made the kick off in the second half. Gzpn Timisoara's Toader Baltian got his second yellow card of the match in the 58th minute. The referee ordered Toader Baltian off the ground. Toader Baltian hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Gzpn Timisoara's goalkeeper Ştefan Buzilă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorel Cercelescu. 64 minutes into the match, Gzpn Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Gavril Cozaru came free, but Ştefan Buzilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ştefan Buzilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavril Cozaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorel Cercelescu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 68th playminute. After 70 minutes, Tudor Coidum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡ and the Gzpn Timisoara players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th match minute, ⚡FC Muntenia09⚡ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tudor Coidum to maneuver through the defense. Costel Postelnicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rareș Lucian's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Ştefan Buzilă skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dorel Cercelescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ştefan Buzilă having to make a save. Valentin Potopea hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Costel Postelnicu hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match.
