Gzpn Timisoara's Mihăiţă Prunaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Milcoveanu in the 6th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in LIVIUS UNITED MLS's zone, Toader Baltian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Bojonca came out of the goal and Toader Baltian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Costel Postelnicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Manuel Bojonca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to LIVIUS UNITED MLS getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gigi Trifănucă hit a great ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Gigi Trifănucă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gigi Trifănucă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute, Petrică Zdroană hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Toader Baltian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th minute, Toader Baltian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gzpn Timisoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 41 minutes into the match, Gzpn Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Milcoveanu came free, but Mihăiţă Prunaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gzpn Timisoara's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Prunaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 44 minutes of play, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Gigi Trifănucă made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihăiţă Prunaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Gigi Trifănucă managed to get in a good position for a shot. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's supporters rose to their feet, but Gigi Trifănucă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihăiţă Prunaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toader Baltian to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Gzpn Timisoara getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Mihai Buculeasa hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Cornel Levința managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mihăiţă Prunaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gigi Trifănucă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihăiţă Prunaru having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Costel Postelnicu had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rareș Domide during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rareș Domide hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Mihăiţă Prunaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Milcoveanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gigi Trifănucă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihăiţă Prunaru having to interfere. The supporters of LIVIUS UNITED MLS booed when Gzpn Timisoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petrică Zdroană didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Milcoveanu in the 82nd minute of play forced Gzpn Timisoara's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Prunaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihăiţă Prunaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Milcoveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Viorel Banciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the game, Toader Baltian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Manuel Bojonca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd minute, Gigi Trifănucă made a precise shot to the right of Mihăiţă Prunaru. Gzpn Timisoara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Emil Angheloiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The LIVIUS UNITED MLS players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Gzpn Timisoara from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
