Ovidiu Nicorici yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. 29 minutes into the game, Ştefan Ciuvică was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uptown Otters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ the free kick. Iordache Sfârlea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Bacalbașa in the 34th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pompiliu Bacalbașa in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iordache Sfârlea saved Uptown Otters from getting behind. After some careless play in the Uptown Otters defense, Sabin Glodeanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iordache Sfârlea. The Uptown Otters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iordache Sfârlea should have stopped the shot. Pompiliu Bacalbașa struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Iordache Sfârlea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★POLI★™★VIOLA★. The supporters of ★POLI★™★VIOLA★ booed when Uptown Otters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Enciu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
