The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Leontin Cotoi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebastian Medrea. Sebastian Medrea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 5 minutes into the match, Aurel Gorunescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Medrea. FC ANC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurel Gorunescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Aurel Gorunescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leonard Duțulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Foltea having to interfere. FC ANC's Leonard Duțulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurel Gorunescu struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Sebastian Medrea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007. 25 minutes into the match, FC ANC's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Gorunescu came free, but Sebastian Medrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Medrea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurel Gorunescu went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, FC ANC's Radu Bodnar got a free kick in the 30th minute. Sebastian Medrea acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cristi Ciuvică. Radu Bodnar hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Cristi Ciuvică took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastian Medrea. FC ANC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's Filip Chițu got a free kick in the 34th minute. Daniel Buculeasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iosif Foltea having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Duțulescu came free, but Iosif Foltea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Leontin Cotoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC ANC the free kick. FC ANC's Radu Popovici was substituted for Marcel Șeitan. Leontin Cotoi hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Sebastian Medrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Gorunescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Ilie Beraru kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiberiu Zburlea during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 got a freekick which was hit by Tiberiu Zburlea. Iosif Foltea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Duțulescu in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC ANC's zone, Leontin Cotoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Medrea came out of the goal and Leontin Cotoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th match minute, ★RO★ Afrimesti FC 2007 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Zburlea to maneuver through the defense. Mădălin Boeru, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With his leg Iosif Foltea managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when FC ANC's Daniel Buculeasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Buculeasa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Iosif Foltea firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sebastian Medrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristi Boboc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iosif Foltea made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Daniel Buculeasa sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Buculeasa took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iosif Foltea. Iosif Foltea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After having played for 95 minutes, Daniel Buculeasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC ANC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Buculeasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC ANC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
