Iustinian Barbu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kobra TEAM fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! -BZF- Valea Buzăului were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Kobra TEAM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Costică Stoleru took the corner. At last the ball reached Aristide Nichita at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Kobra TEAM. 1-0. Petru Hristea hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Ozon during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of -BZF- Valea Buzăului booed when Kobra TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorel Hrandabur didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, Alex Pop reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edgar Mitică. The goal made the score 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viorel Popeangă made a kick off. Codrin Achiriloaie was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. Kobra TEAM's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 55th minute, Aristide Nichita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Mitică was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Nichita in the 63rd minute of play forced Kobra TEAM's goalkeeper Edgar Mitică to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Mitică made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Nichita in the 67th minute of play. The -BZF- Valea Buzăului fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Aristide Nichita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edgar Mitică took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Pop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horea Neculuță was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, one of -BZF- Valea Buzăului:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for -BZF- Valea Buzăului. Petru Hristea walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Alex Pop came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the -BZF- Valea Buzăului fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Pop couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 7-1 when Cristi Hagi sped through Kobra TEAM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edgar Mitică. In the 91st minute of the match, Viorel Popeangă tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manole Tăcutu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Manole Tăcutu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Durbac in the 93rd minute of play. Manole Tăcutu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Codrin Achiriloaie's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. -BZF- Valea Buzăului fully deserved thier win.
