With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mădălin Vintilescu in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Sichitiu saved U Craiova from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mădălin Vintilescu in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Sichitiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in U Craiova's zone, Viorel Lelescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Sichitiu came out of the goal and Viorel Lelescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Mădălin Vintilescu sped through U Craiova's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adam Sichitiu. The audience was convinced that Mădălin Vintilescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Sichitiu was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Cazimir Oproiu put in a rough tackle. A collision led to U Craiova getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Mădălin Vintilescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adam Sichitiu came out and tried to block the shot, but Mădălin Vintilescu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, U Craiova's Adam Sichitiu got control of the ball when Mădălin Vintilescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mădălin Vintilescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adam Sichitiu. That made the score 0-7 in the 79 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gică Bântu during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Fc S.Zaharesti's Mădălin Vintilescu in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U Craiova's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle sounded Fc S.Zaharesti left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than U Craiova.
