The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugen Butuc helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Butuc to maneuver through the defense. Niculae Povară took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Șipoș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugen Butuc took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niculae Povară. Niculae Povară dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Iosif Lăzăroiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Cozorici having to interfere. Niculae Povară came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Eugen Butuc. But to his dismay, Eugen Butuc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 37th minute, Vintilă Giubelean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niculae Povară took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Butuc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Butuc in the 46th minute of play forced CF REALCipri's goalkeeper Niculae Povară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marius Cucerdean came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the White&Blue Lions-Stiinta- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marius Cucerdean couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugen Butuc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eugen Butuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Niculae Povară tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ivan Gârdescu fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CF REALCipri's protests and gave Ivan Gârdescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, CF REALCipri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Gârdescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Marius Cucerdean made a precise shot to the right of Niculae Povară. CF REALCipri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. CF REALCipri's Niculae Povară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Butuc in the 78th minute of play. A collision led to CF REALCipri getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ivan Gârdescu hit a great ball. Niculae Povară was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Marius Cucerdean capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marius Cucerdean really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After a rather tough play, CF REALCipri's Martin Gogu got a free kick in the 95th minute. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s Ivan Mereuță shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 96th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Niculae Povară but with some difficulty. White&Blue Lions-Stiinta-'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
