Juventus Țiu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ferdinand Pociu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Marius Bălașa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes RED BLUE STAR got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Gavra. After 29 minutes, Ferdinand Pociu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RED BLUE STAR and the Juventus Țiu players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to RED BLUE STAR getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ferdinand Pociu hit a great ball. Alexandru Chiriloaie was shown his second yellow card after 30 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Marius Bălașa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Panaitoiu in the 32nd minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sabin Nicolae made a kick off. After 54 played minutes RED BLUE STAR got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Arapașu. After 57 minutes, Gică Comarnescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventus Țiu and the RED BLUE STAR players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gică Comarnescu kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Ionuț Moșneanu came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus Țiu's Avram Valerian. But to his dismay, Avram Valerian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sabin Nicolae charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sabin Nicolae the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Juventus Țiu's Traian Codin got a free kick in the 69th minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Ilie Armeanca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus Țiu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilie Armeanca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute, Vasile Leucuța got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
