In the 3rdth minute of the game Edgar Arghir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Diamond's Vali Brătescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 8 minutes, Ionică Bernea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Diamond and the F.C.BARLAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Black Diamond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionică Bernea to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, Edgar Arghir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vali Brătescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Aurel Tinu came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Black Diamond fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurel Tinu couldn't finish the play. With 24 minutes on the clock, Mihail Tomozei commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 23 minutes into the game, one of F.C.BARLAD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Felix Anton, was totally fooled by Black Diamond's Aurel Tinu, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Felix Anton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Tinu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petru Moldoveanu hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. F.C.BARLAD's Felix Anton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Tinu in the 32nd minute of play. In the 38th minute, Edgar Arghir left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C.BARLAD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Vali Brătescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Arghir, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 41 minutes into the game, Edgar Arghir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Vali Brătescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The wind increased when Edgar Arghir made the kick off in the second half. Felix Anton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasile Cismarescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The referee ignored F.C.BARLAD's protests and gave Călin Târban a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Călin Târban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. F.C.BARLAD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
