Spectators: 195 (Terracing: 147, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ief Van den Berghe got the match started through his kick off. Rudy Panhuijsen came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Invictus FC's Ief Van den Berghe. But to his dismay, Ief Van den Berghe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Camiel Hennes kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's Julius De Leger broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rudy Panhuijsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Worteleers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Richard Worteleers fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Invictus FC's protests and gave Richard Worteleers a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Brugge United booed when Invictus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Worteleers didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudy Panhuijsen came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Invictus FC's Ief Van den Berghe. But to his dismay, Ief Van den Berghe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Brugge United's Rudy Panhuijsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ief Van den Berghe in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Ief Van den Berghe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Invictus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ief Van den Berghe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 minutes, Julius De Leger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Invictus FC and the Brugge United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Invictus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julius De Leger to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Dries Dirckx made the kick off in the second half. Julius De Leger struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Rudy Panhuijsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Invictus FC. 54 minutes into the match, Invictus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jochen Diericx came free, but Jasper De Raeijmaecker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brugge United were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Invictus FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dries Dirckx took the corner. 59 minutes into the game, Christian Meys cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Jasper De Raeijmaecker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute, Tjorven Jaddon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match Julius De Leger sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rudy Panhuijsen skillfully saved the ball. Richard Worteleers was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Invictus FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ief Van den Berghe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rudy Panhuijsen came out and tried to block the shot, but Ief Van den Berghe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 69th minute. Richard Worteleers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Rudy Panhuijsen made a huge save. Rudy Panhuijsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ief Van den Berghe's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Brugge United's Kobe De Poorter got a free kick in the 85th minute. When Invictus FC's Richard Worteleers in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brugge United's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julius De Leger in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rudy Panhuijsen saved Brugge United from getting behind. The Invictus FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Invictus FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
