Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Diederick Meulders started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bobby Deville during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bacardi FC's Sven Gobbelijns was substituted for Jimmy Van den Hoff. After 5 played minutes De Keikoppers got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Deville. Bobby Deville got his second yellow card in the match during the 8th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 9th match minute, De Keikoppers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bobby Deville to maneuver through the defense. Rolf Saelens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diederick Meulders's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Diederick Meulders managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacardi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diederick Meulders was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolf Saelens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Paulus Polspoel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diederick Meulders who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Rolf Saelens when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rolf Saelens had great luck who in the 26thth minute grab hold of the ball when Diederick Meulders from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Gabriel Gillekens hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Bacardi FC's Michael Omblets got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulus Polspoel kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Rolf Saelens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diederick Meulders in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Paulus Polspoel made the kick off in the second half. If Diederick Meulders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dany-Adams Aelgoet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Saelens having to interfere. After a rather tough play, De Keikoppers's Jesse Roeckeloes got a free kick in the 57th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as De Keikoppers's Paulus Polspoel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joannes Neels. That made the score 1-1 after 68 minutes of play. 72 minutes into the match, Diederick Meulders had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolf Saelens. De Keikoppers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diederick Meulders was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Diederick Meulders recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Diederick Meulders made a precise shot to the right of Rolf Saelens. De Keikoppers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diederick Meulders in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolf Saelens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dany-Adams Aelgoet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bacardi FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
