A collision led to de belletrekkers getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Loui Vissenaekers hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolf Smedts in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rocky De Fever saved de belletrekkers from getting behind. The supporters of FC Ouagadougou National booed when de belletrekkers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didier Goons didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Diego Alaerts put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rocky De Fever. 40 minutes into the game, Ief Fondria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Rocky De Fever was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 47 played minutes de belletrekkers got a freekick which was hit by Georges-Philippe van Haghten.

With 54 minutes on the clock, Georges-Philippe van Haghten commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Nicolas Van Langhendonck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daan Owerckx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Daan Owerckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loui Vissenaekers in the 87th minute of the match. Diego Alaerts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Rocky De Fever made a huge save.
