The Het Koffiehuis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ernst Bellinkx's late challenge caught a Het Koffiehuis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernst Bellinkx helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, KV Schoonwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Bellinkx to maneuver through the defense. Pieter-Jan Roelandts charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pieter-Jan Roelandts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pieter-Jan Roelandts hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Philipp De Messemaecker was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jean Van Aerschot showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 18 minute of play. Michel Ingelborchs hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, Pieter-Jan Roelandts recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Philipp De Messemaecker. Pieter-Jan Roelandts showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Laurenz Kerselaers hit a great ball. Philipp De Messemaecker made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Pieter-Jan Roelandts sent off a good shot on target. Ernst Bellinkx got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 38 played minutes KV Schoonwater got a freekick which was hit by Ernst Bellinkx. If Marc Saelens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Laurenz Kerselaers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The wind increased when Geert-Jan Wirinckx made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jean Van Aerschot hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Geert-Jan Wirinckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicky Rauvoets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Cheepers charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles Cheepers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Het Koffiehuis booed when KV Schoonwater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Cheepers didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Geert-Jan Wirinckx came free, but Nicky Rauvoets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st match minute, KV Schoonwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Saelens to maneuver through the defense. Charles Cheepers struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Philipp De Messemaecker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KV Schoonwater. After a defensive mix-up in Het Koffiehuis's zone, Laurenz Kerselaers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philipp De Messemaecker came out of the goal and Laurenz Kerselaers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Philipp De Messemaecker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurenz Kerselaers, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 75 played minutes Het Koffiehuis got a freekick which was hit by Stef Caes. Charles Cheepers hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Nicky Rauvoets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geert-Jan Wirinckx in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Anton Reniers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicky Rauvoets was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. In the 85th minute, Anton Reniers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Het Koffiehuis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Nicky Rauvoets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Reniers in the 91st minute of play. In the 91st match minute, KV Schoonwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurenz Kerselaers to maneuver through the defense. The KV Schoonwater supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Het Koffiehuis's performance. The match ended with a win for Het Koffiehuis.
