Robbin Panhuyse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pino Maerschalckx, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Quillian Lambrecht's late challenge caught a Sporting Mambo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quillian Lambrecht helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes Fox Hunting Squad got a freekick which was hit by Quillian Lambrecht. In the 32nd minute, Jorg Vrijdags got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waut Goons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Tael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pino Maerschalckx during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Robbin Panhuyse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yoachim Fondria in the 42nd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Thomas Tael scored 1-3 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waut Goons, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Pino Maerschalckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes, Glen de Pelsmaecker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Mambo and the Fox Hunting Squad players grew even worse after the yellow card. Glen de Pelsmaecker kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 85 minutes of play, Fox Hunting Squad's Jorg Vrijdags made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waut Goons was left in no man's land by his defense there! Waut Goons made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorg Vrijdags in the 91st minute. Fox Hunting Squad's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
