The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Janes Verhoeven struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Philipp De Messemaecker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suikerklontjes. Janes Verhoeven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th match minute, Het Koffiehuis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stef Caes to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute of the match Jean-Louis Vereyt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Philipp De Messemaecker skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Het Koffiehuis's Stef Caes got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 14 played minutes, Suikerklontjes's Cesar De Meyer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Philipp De Messemaecker came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Suikerklontjes reached it. In the 17th minute, Maxim Rutten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 played minutes Suikerklontjes got a freekick which was hit by Reinaud Rouckeloos. Anton Reniers hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, Maxim Rutten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Het Koffiehuis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suikerklontjes the free kick. In the 25th minute, Maxim Rutten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arne De Munck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Rutten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Het Koffiehuis's goal looked a bit too open when Tijs Verhaghen came free, but Philipp De Messemaecker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Janes Verhoeven succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 46th playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Janes Verhoeven made the kick off in the second half. Philipp De Messemaecker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janes Verhoeven in the 53rd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Tijs Verhaghen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Philipp De Messemaecker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tijs Verhaghen in the 66th minute of play forced Het Koffiehuis's goalkeeper Philipp De Messemaecker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Diedrik Kint hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Janes Verhoeven left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Suikerklontjes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Het Koffiehuis's Philipp De Messemaecker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janes Verhoeven in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janes Verhoeven in the 79th minute of play forced Het Koffiehuis's goalkeeper Philipp De Messemaecker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tijs Verhaghen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp De Messemaecker having to interfere. Tijs Verhaghen scored 6-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Philipp De Messemaecker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Philipp De Messemaecker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janes Verhoeven in the 94th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Tijs Verhaghen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Philipp De Messemaecker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
