Ronald Maeijnarts hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Sporting Westmeerbeek's Norbert Verhulst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Westmeerbeek from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Sporting Westmeerbeek defense, Ronald Maeijnarts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norbert Verhulst. The Sporting Westmeerbeek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norbert Verhulst should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Sporting Westmeerbeek's goalkeeper Norbert Verhulst had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toon Dekker. Danny den Ronden took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sylvan Van Den Eynde. Sylvan Van Den Eynde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Brecht Van Hespen fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Westmeerbeek's protests and gave Brecht Van Hespen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ulan Bator Football Club booed when Sporting Westmeerbeek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brecht Van Hespen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artur Gyselincx was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sylvan Van Den Eynde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Senne Luijten went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. With 33 minutes on the clock, Brecht Van Hespen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 34th minute, Brecht Van Hespen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dylan Van hoeijveld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronald Maeijnarts in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norbert Verhulst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute, Ronald Maeijnarts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ulan Bator Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 43 minutes into the match, Artur Gyselincx dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Norbert Verhulst, 3-3. Sylvan Van Den Eynde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles-Antoine Vercammen in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danny den Ronden to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sporting Westmeerbeek booed when Ulan Bator Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Van Eede didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Henri-Xavier Vereyt sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ulan Bator Football Club's Sylvan Van Den Eynde didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Westmeerbeek's zone, Artur Gyselincx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Verhulst came out of the goal and Artur Gyselincx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 minutes, Nestor Naegels mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Westmeerbeek and the Ulan Bator Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sylvan Van Den Eynde made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Danny den Ronden sent off a good shot on target. Artur Gyselincx might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norbert Verhulst. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artur Gyselincx ran back to his position shaking his head. 71 minutes into the game, Ulan Bator Football Club's Ronald Maeijnarts nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norbert Verhulst made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. In the 75th match minute, Ulan Bator Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Maeijnarts to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ulan Bator Football Club's goalkeeper Sylvan Van Den Eynde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Danny den Ronden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Norbert Verhulst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toon Dekker, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Norbert Verhulst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronald Maeijnarts in the 86th minute of the match. Sylvan Van Den Eynde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danny den Ronden in the 93rd minute. Danny den Ronden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulan Bator Football Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sporting Westmeerbeek for a fine match.
