Jo van der Eycken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Maeijnarts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christopher Frans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jo van der Eycken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toon Dekker went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, SK Gullegem's Yelle Van Damme got a free kick in the 15th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Ronald Maeijnarts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jo van der Eycken. SK Gullegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronald Maeijnarts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Aaron Van Hooveldt's late challenge caught a SK Gullegem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Van Hooveldt helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of SK Gullegem booed when Ulan Bator Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Van Hooveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, one of SK Gullegem:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SK Gullegem. The referee gave Ulan Bator Football Club a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dylan Van hoeijveld, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SK Gullegem's Jo van der Eycken. 0-3. 30 minutes into the match, Toon Dekker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jo van der Eycken. SK Gullegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toon Dekker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. SK Gullegem's Christopher Frans got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pieterjan Susters hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, SK Gullegem's Wart Hollants broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 40th minute, Ulan Bator Football Club's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sylvain Pauwels fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Christopher Frans managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Gullegem's supporters rose to their feet, but Christopher Frans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sylvan Van Den Eynde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Christopher Frans made the kick off in the second half. Toon Dekker hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Christopher Frans sped through Ulan Bator Football Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sylvan Van Den Eynde. If Christopher Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jo van der Eycken acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 66th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dylan Van hoeijveld. Soren Kindts kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Christopher Frans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jo van der Eycken made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toon Dekker in the 79th minute. Jo van der Eycken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Gyselincx in the 82nd minute of the match. Christopher Frans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toon Dekker was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Ulan Bator Football Club's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 92 minutes into the match, Toon Dekker dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jo van der Eycken, 1-7.
