Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Harold Engelborgh started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marc Saelens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waut Goons having to interfere. Nicky Rauvoets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffel Weets in the 7th minute of the match. 0-1 became the score in the 9th minute when Charles Cheepers elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Sporting Mambo's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Cheepers came free, but Waut Goons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waut Goons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pieter-Jan Roelandts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Laurenz Kerselaers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KV Schoonwater fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 17 minutes into the match, Laurenz Kerselaers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waut Goons. Sporting Mambo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laurenz Kerselaers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 20th minute, Charles Cheepers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Sporting Mambo's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Saelens came free, but Waut Goons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Harold Engelborgh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Ernst Bellinkx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matthieu Vincke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Harold Engelborgh kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicky Rauvoets. That made the score 1-3 in the 39 minute of play. Nicky Rauvoets made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harold Engelborgh in the 47th minute. Michael Armentier's late challenge caught a KV Schoonwater's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Armentier helped the player get up and apologised. After the first half KV Schoonwater were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thomas Eekhout hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Engelborgh came free, but Nicky Rauvoets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pieter-Jan Roelandts kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffel Weets in the 58th minute of play forced KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Nicky Rauvoets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristof Helsen kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Nicky Rauvoets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthieu Vincke, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 63 minutes, Marc Saelens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KV Schoonwater and the Sporting Mambo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Marc Saelens hit a great ball. After some careless play in the KV Schoonwater defense, Harold Engelborgh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicky Rauvoets. The KV Schoonwater fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicky Rauvoets should have stopped the shot. Nicky Rauvoets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yoachim Fondria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 played minutes KV Schoonwater got a freekick which was hit by Kristof Helsen. Waut Goons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Saelens in the 72nd minute of play. Pieter-Jan Roelandts received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Waut Goons came out and tried to block the shot, but Pieter-Jan Roelandts slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 75th minute. KV Schoonwater's Jean Van Aerschot was substituted for Marc Saelens. Waut Goons stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean Van Aerschot's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. The supporters of KV Schoonwater booed when Sporting Mambo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Etienne Ottevaere didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sporting Mambo's Etienne Ottevaere got a free kick in the 90th minute. Waut Goons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Bellinkx in the 92nd minute of play. Nicky Rauvoets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Engelborgh, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Waut Goons made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Jean Van Aerschot sent off a good shot on target. KV Schoonwater's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
