Octavian Lache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lieven Omblets in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Anversa Club's goal looked a bit too open when Cederique De Kepper came free, but Octavian Lache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Campens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dan De Maijer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 22 minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Levi Audenaert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavian Lache. Anversa Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Levi Audenaert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dan De Maijer made a kick off. Octavian Lache made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lieven Omblets in the 54th minute. The Anversa Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Purple Talents were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
