The Silver Squad AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stijn Leers should have stopped the shot. If Tibaut Temmerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jannick Decorte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Lieckens in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Geetsvondel² was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph De Langhe to maneuver through the defense. After 33 minutes, Diederiek Heijligen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silver Squad AFC and the Geetsvondel² players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Silver Squad AFC's Diederiek Heijligen got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tibaut Temmerman came free, but Stijn Leers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After a rather tough play, Geetsvondel²'s Joseph De Langhe got a free kick in the 88th minute. Silver Squad AFC's Stijn Leers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jef Vanden Bussche in the 96th minute of play. Geetsvondel²'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
