Jannick Decorte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natan Rouvoet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Geetsvondel²'s Harold De Mayer got a free kick in the 4th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Jonathan Goossens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thierry Lenaerts. Jonathan Goossens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Natan Rouvoet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jannick Decorte. Geetsvondel²'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natan Rouvoet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Natan Rouvoet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natan Rouvoet in the 24th minute of play forced Geetsvondel²'s goalkeeper Jannick Decorte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Natan Rouvoet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Jannick Decorte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thierry Lenaerts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jef Vanden Bussche in the 30th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Camiel Huijberechts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the game, Geetsvondel²'s Jef Vanden Bussche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thierry Lenaerts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Geetsvondel²'s Douglas Wirinckx got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute of the match Natan Rouvoet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jannick Decorte skillfully saved the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sam-Lucas Van Achteren to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natan Rouvoet got free with Jannick Decorte in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Sam-Lucas Van Achteren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Steven Hagemans kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. With his leg Jannick Decorte managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Beek City's Natan Rouvoet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Beek City's Sam-Lucas Van Achteren got a free kick in the 75th minute. Jannick Decorte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Natan Rouvoet in the 80th minute. Beek City's Artur Loots managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Harold De Mayer in the 86 minute of the game. A hard shot 87 in the game by Natan Rouvoet from a close distance when the talented Jannick Decorte managed to make a qualified save. Geetsvondel²'s players were relieved. With a little luck, Geetsvondel²'s Jannick Decorte got control of the ball when Gregory Van Houtvin tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jef Vanden Bussche in the 94th minute of play forced Beek City's goalkeeper Thierry Lenaerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Beek City players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Geetsvondel² from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
