Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) A collision led to Twierdza Osowiec getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Jacque De Wit hit a great ball. Twierdza Osowiec's Lou Winnepenninck was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 7th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Maarten Soetemans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Vlimmens went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Maarten Soetemans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lieven Raedemaeckers went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Glenn Imbereghs came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Twierdza Osowiec's Stein Van Leemputte. But to his dismay, Stein Van Leemputte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Twierdza Osowiec's Stein Van Leemputte got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 35 minutes, Jozef Van Acker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YR Mechelen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jozef Van Acker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Glenn Imbereghs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Callewaert in the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Twierdza Osowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Lieven Raedemaeckers came free, but Maarten Soetemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jannick Melkval was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Twierdza Osowiec's Lou Winnepenninck made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glenn Imbereghs was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jozef Van Acker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maarten Soetemans having to interfere. Stijn De Jong kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Jannick Melkval had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maarten Soetemans. Twierdza Osowiec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jannick Melkval was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. In the 72nd match minute, YR Mechelen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Vlimmens to maneuver through the defense. Lieven Raedemaeckers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jannick Melkval got free with Maarten Soetemans in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lieven Raedemaeckers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maarten Soetemans having to interfere.
