Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jos Armentier took the kick off in the first half of the match. Remie Vissenakens kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 3 minutes into the match, VC zoetwater's Jeoffrey Wiggers broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 6 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Stijn Leers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jos Armentier. After 6 played minutes Silver Squad AFC got a freekick which was hit by Walter Gheysen. Jos Armentier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. VC zoetwater's Robbrecht Caes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Van Achtens in the 21st minute of play. Jos Armentier took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stijn Leers. Stijn Leers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Cedric Van Meerbeec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Stijn Leers made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Stijn Leers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jos Armentier. In the 36th minute Roger Van Achtens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbrecht Caes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, VC zoetwater's Jos Armentier got a free kick in the 38th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Henrik Lieckens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silver Squad AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrik Lieckens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. VC zoetwater's Robbrecht Caes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Van Achtens in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roger Van Achtens made a kick off. With a little luck, VC zoetwater's Robbrecht Caes got control of the ball when Henry De Vorster tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Henrik Lieckens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Gheysen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbrecht Caes having to interfere. Roger Van Achtenss short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Robbrecht Caes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to VC zoetwater getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Henri Uyttebroeck hit a great ball. After 72 minutes, Jos Armentier made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Silver Squad AFC's Stijn Leers tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jos Armentier in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stijn Leers saved Silver Squad AFC from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, Jos Armentier notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Silver Squad AFC's Stijn Leers. Stijn Leers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fred Van Hoeyveld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Van Achtens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbrecht Caes having to interfere. If Roger Van Achtens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, VC zoetwater's Marc Van Linthaut got a free kick in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Silver Squad AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VC zoetwater.
