Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) FC Gullegem's Carel Verdonckt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 minutes, Joseph Vermeulen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flamenco United and the FC Gullegem players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Joseph Vermeulen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Dechamps's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ive De Meyer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Ive De Meyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbie Van Eijken in the 13th minute of play. Ive De Meyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youri Goolen in the 17th minute of play. FC Gullegem's Ive De Meyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Dechamps in the 20th minute of play. Youri Goolen took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ive De Meyer. Ive De Meyer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ive De Meyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Youri Goolen, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Robbie Van Eijken received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ive De Meyer came out and tried to block the shot, but Robbie Van Eijken slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 27th minute. Youri Goolen took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ive De Meyer. Ive De Meyer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Carel Verdonckt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Christoff Dirckx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute of the match, Vicente Dechamps tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ive De Meyer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ive De Meyer was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Robbie Van Eijken capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Robbie Van Eijken really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. After 45 played minutes Flamenco United got a freekick which was hit by Lucien Bastiaens.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Youri Goolen to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Youri Goolen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ive De Meyer. FC Gullegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Youri Goolen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After some careless play in the FC Gullegem defense, Theo Van Haght kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ive De Meyer. The FC Gullegem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ive De Meyer should have stopped the shot. Flamenco United's Christoff Dirckx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeff de Pelsmakere in the 63rd minute of play. Jeff de Pelsmakere's late challenge caught a Flamenco United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeff de Pelsmakere helped the player get up and apologised. 78 minutes into the match, FC Gullegem's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Wuyts came free, but Ive De Meyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ive De Meyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Wuyts in the 79th minute of play. Ive De Meyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Dechamps in the 81st minute of play. After 81st play minutes Edward Wuyts shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Ive De Meyer and just under the crossbar into goal. Flamenco United's Vicente Dechamps got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vicente Dechamps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ive De Meyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 minutes of play FC Gullegem's Jeff de Pelsmakere was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jeff de Pelsmakere kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ive De Meyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Wuyts in the 92nd minute of play. 97 minutes into the game, Edward Wuyts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Ive De Meyer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
